The Clique Arcade has LAUNCHED! On Friday the 24th of October, 50-60 models, a huge team of hair dressers at Head Studio and a ton of makeup artists such as @tathiacreative @jacquibradfield @kristyellencreative worked together to stop traffic in the Perth CBD at 6pm.

5 girls and I were #thecliquegirls and we walked the streets around lunch time handing out cards with the store name and generally just trying to get people interested and want to know about what was going on. Later, we returned to Head Studio on King Street, had our hair and makeup fixed and were styled with an outfit from a Perth designer that is on sale on The Clique Arcade.

The countdown to 5:30 began as the group of models was split into 3 and each headed for a different direction in the city. After waiting around for the go signal and stirring up public interest, wolf whistles, photographs and videos of us walking to our areas, we finally began our "catwalk" to Central Park.

We walked single file down streets, alleyways, and across crossings, holding up the evening traffic and standing out on the street so no one could ignore us. Arriving at Central Park, we saw all the other models were doing the same! The press was following us and crowds of people had formed. We had some group photos taken and then began the huge single file walk back to Head Studio where even more people had gathered to watch and even more media was waiting for us on the home run.

We had one last walk into the bar at the back of Uncle Joes Barbershop, next to Head Studio. After few wines, photos and happy snaps with the designers in Mess Cafe behind the barbers it was time to change our of our looks and have some cocktails to celebrate the relief that the day worked out perfectly!

Thank you especially to Storm and Ross Wyness and Holly Mitchell from @theboyfriendshirt.
