Floral Street Launches at MECCA Maxima
Hello and welcome, Floral Street!
We all love an exciting new addition the Mecca Maxima family, especially from overseas. That’s something I’ve always loved about Mecca, they bring the goods to Australian shores!
Floral Street bases itself on the feminine culture existing within London. The city is painted as a place where women are proud to be who they are with an ‘out of the ordinary’ edge, as original as the encapsulated florals of Floral Street. The attitude is about enjoying and embracing modern femininity while exploring the scents, finding a connection with one or two (or three or… just the whole range please?). Also, just quickly, the alluring Discovery Sets looks like a lovely introduction to the brand and I’ve jotted this down on my Christmas wish list.
Floral Street Neon Rose Body Cream - $43
(Online Exclusive)
This has felt so hydrating for my skin with the blend of shea butter and argan oil. I use this on my hands, elbows and knees before bed and I wake up with the softest skin. The fresh Jasmine fragrance is relaxing and a really pleasant scent to use. I really can’t use a strong smelling hand cream, if it’s overpowering I’ll just start to feel sick after a while and have to wash it off. I don’t get this at all with the Neon Rose Body Cream.
Other notes are angelica, apple blossom and bergamot with a hint of peach nectar.
Note from MECCA website: pH balanced, and free from synthetic dyes, pthalates, parabens, mineral oil, petrolatum and paraffin.
Floral Street White Rose Candle - $55
This is the perfect candle if you don’t like a strong floral scent. It’s described as minimalist and I completely agree, it’s perfect. Mostly, I can smell the Geranium and Patchouli, I love having it burning in the corner of a room and the scent isn’t overpowering at all.
From the Floral Street website: Key ingredients are Geranium, Patchouli, Crisp Amber, Dewy Rose, Geranium Egypt, Cassis Buds, Pear.
Burn time: 40 hours
