My Hair Styles of 2018
My favourite hairstyles from 2018
This last year has been such a fun year for my hair. I am not exactly the best at styling it myself so I have the BoBlonde team to help me with everything blonde related. We’ve changed it up in Winter and recently for summer, we’ve used a few different toners and some really colourful shades I never would have expected to like! The girls at BoBlonde always help me match my blonde to my complexion.
Here are my top blonde hairstyles for the year that I’ve loved and will probably repeat again this year! Hopefully, you can find these as blonde hair inspiration for colour, cut or styling. Screenshot your favourite and show it to your hairdresser, or even better - pop into BoBlonde if you’re in Perth!
If you didn’t already know, I absolutely love having my hair curled. It’s something I’m so terrible at doing myself! There’s a new years resolution, learn how to curl my hair.

Melbourne Cup Hairstyle - High Pony
Melbourne Cup is always on a hot day in Perth so I always opt for a high ponytail. The curls created more texture in the ponytail and around my face too. I felt so confident in this hairstyle and I would love to wear it like this more in 2019!

Peachy Pink Hair
We tried peach in July after I got back from holidays. I guess you could say I was feeling a little adventurous? I wasn’t sure if I’d like my hair being an actual colour but I ended up LOVING it. This was only a toner and the colour came out after two washes. In 2019 I definitely want to go this colour for a bit longer.
Purple Waves
After going peachy pink, we tried more of a purple pink tone! I still think I definitely love the peach but purple was fun. This toner lasted longer than the peach one and it often surprised me when I’d catch my reflection! I felt like this was a beautiful way to try a new colour for a short period of time, almost no commitment sounds great to me.

The Chop
We chopped a few inches off my hair in March this year. I haven’t had such a big haircut in the longest time. It feels like it was the smallest thing now and I can see how much healthier my hair is because of it.

Full Head of Foils
Every few visits we do a full head of foils but most appointments are just a half head. Using foils to create a blonde look can help your colour to look a lot more natural than it would with a scalp bleach. My hair always feels so refreshed after foils and not to mention it’s so much better for your hair too! Curling your hair after foiling will help to bring out the variations of tones in your blonde colour too.

Beachy Bohemian Waves
I’m the culprit who asks for waves every single time I have my hair done. I absolutely love how they look, even the day after! We did a few root fades this year to soften the line between brand new foils and any regrowth. This was a game changer for me, it’s become my favourite style.

One of many snaps in the chair this year. I’ve been visiting the Dalkeith salon most of the time and I adore the layout. It’s modern and still feels chic. Fremantle will always be the sweetest and most individual salon but the lighting for photos is definitely better in Dalkeith!

Braids and Waves
My hairstyle for NYE celebrations. I am in love with the gradient from my natural colour to my blonde. A half up half down look is something I want to wear so much more in the new year - It’s a refreshing change from my usual long and wavy look.
What were your biggest hair changes this year? I’m normally pretty nervous to change my hair so this year has been pretty big for me! Can you guess what I’m planning for 2019?
