3 DIY Halloween Nail Designs To Try
Are you choosing to dress up this year or just relax and enjoy everyone else’s costumes? I mostly just love seeing what everyone else is dressing up as!
I don’t dress up every year but I am partial to a holiday nail design. It’s a simple way to get into the spirit of the festive season without too much commitment. They’d be great to elevate a costume too! I did some DIY Halloween nail art this year, they’re really simple nail designs you can try yourself or show these pictures to your nail tech this weekend for a spooky manicure.

Ghost nails design - Easy Halloween nails
These nails are definitely the easiest and the cutest out of the three designs I tried. It was simple to paint a few nails white and use a detail brush to create a swooping design for the ghost tail and a little arm here and there. Don’t forget to add their spooky eyes with a nail dotting tools. I elongated them a little bit by dragging the tool but the eyes look just as cute when they’re a simple dot too. Finish off with a clear top coat and cure!

I thought I was going to love these nails but I didn’t like them as much as I expected! The details were a bit hard to do freehand with my nail art tools and they’d probably be easier with some cute nail stickers next time. They still turned out cute and weren’t too hard but I think I could definitely do them faster with some stickers.
Spiderweb nails design
I love these nails and found so much spider web nail inspo on Pinterest! I would have liked to have been able to create finer lines for the spider webs but I think that comes with practice and probably a steadier hand. I gave myself black French tips then used a thin nail art brush to create the lines for the webs.
Valentine's Day may have passed, but who says the romantic vibes have to end?
