My Zara Autumn Wishlist
It's the middle of Autumn and this week I've really started to feel the cold 10 degree mornings! I swear it feels like minus 5 and my jeans just aren't keeping me warm anymore. You might have noticed that over the last year I have been transitioning my wardrobe from black and white clothing to something more of a neutral palette. I have found that this allows me to wear my clothes more often and styled in a hundred more different ways. They're more comfortable to restyle again and again later on and wear into the spring months. I found that during the summer I often wore light coloured pants anyway, so I think these are a good buy for whichever season your dressing for.
How to wear Neutral colours
There's a corduroy shirt among my choices this time! I had to put it in, I've always loved corduroy. It's only recently that I feel as though corduroy has come back in style and I feel like my suggestion isn't so unrealistic!
Dressing in neutral colours and sticking to an earthy colour palette really helped me to broaden my wardrobe. It makes it so easy to mix and match! I used to find that when I would have red, blue, green, yellow items in my wardrobe, I could only wear them with black pants or blue jeans. That was just really limiting for me. Now I can wear an earthy coloured top with khaki coloured pants, cream coloured pants, brown pants or white pants! I'm not sure if this is making sense, but I know that I've gotten so much more wear out of my clothes they started working with a colour palette.
From from a sustainable perspective, I know Zara probably isn't the best option. I think if you're buying something from there, you can feel the quality in the fabric and make sure you check the tags! Buying pieces that are made from suitable materials (not polyester), it's going to last you a long time without damage, especially if you're restyling and re wearing it as often as you should be!
Hope you love these picks!
