Na-Kd Clothing Haul

Outfit #1

I've been preparing this post for a little while with a few sneak peeks on Instagram recently. I carefully chose some pieces from NA-KD to style for an Autumn look book showing how to style a playsuit, two different styles of dresses and a skirt for Autumn in Australia.

Autumn is mostly warm in the beginning, long sleeves are always a must for me in Autumn. Outfits without long pants are still bearable around this time thank goodness!

Outfit Number One, The Embroidery Playsuit.

A monochrome outfit styled with black boots and a black belt.

My favourite bits:

Easy outfit for daytime and warmer evenings. Playsuits almost require no thought about matching and styling separates. It allows you to focus on accessories or the finer details of the playsuit.
The lace up detail and fine embroidery on the chiffon sleeves and shorts - different to other playsuits, makes the playsuit interesting and intricate.
City x Bohemian style, can be dressed up or down.
Lined - Important factor for anything white!

Outfit Number Two, Coat Dress.

Lose fitted tie up dress with a plunge neck and a high slit. Paired with a belt structured bag, tortoise shell sunglasses and lace up sandals.

My favourite bits:

Can also be worn a few different ways as a kimono or draped over like a cardigan.
Light material and long sleeves. I always get scared of getting too hot in long sleeves so I always look for flowy fabric.
So many outfits with one piece of clothing, a dress, a throw-over at the beach, a kimono, cardigan or tied over black jeans and a top.
Browns and blacks work with the colour
- The website says brown but it's very orange! My image is a little saturated on the left, the right shots are a more accurate representation of the true colour.

Outfit Number Three, Faux Suede Fringe Skirt.

A western twist on a modern outfit, perfect for wearing when you're dreaming about being at Coachella.

My favourite bits:

Create a modern look with all black or monochrome pieces.
High waisted - fringing extends to the length of the skirt!
A statement piece in an outfit, the texture and cut of the skirt makes it an interesting piece. Though it doesn't need to pop like a coloured piece to be at the centre of the outfit.
Create a bohemian look with crystal jewellery, a white chiffon/lace blouse, a kimono and boots.

Outfit Number Four, Rib Jersey Caftan.

Probably the easiest outfit to throw on for winter. Perfect for days where it might not be raining, but still cool or windy.

My favourite bits:

Full length dress - won't be blowing up in the wind any time soon!
Ribbed fabric, my favourite. Stretchy and makes it easy to walk in without a slit.
Elastic waist
Can be worn casually with sneakers and a denim jacket or dressed up with heels and a belt
