What is MECCALAND?

The question on everyone’s lips, what is MECCALAND? If you went last year, you’ll know. The rest of us still don’t really have a clue! Beauty YouTubers will be there, there's goodie bags with full size products, juicy giveaways, panel discussions, classes with experts, classes to hone in on your beauty skills and you can get your hands on must-have product before anyone. The MECCA team have been planning the second MECCALAND Festival and it’s unlike anything anyone else has ever done in Australia before.

If you’re a beauty junkie like me, you’re in the right place! MECCALAND is joining in again on the fun-filled festival season with a three day beauty heaven in Sydney this year. You’re thinking, “how does a cosmetics and skincare store put on a festival?”. MECCA is about to show us exactly how its done, again!

So what is at a the Mecca Land beauty festival?

This year there will be five MECCALAND worlds! Each world will offer something unique. I feel like it borrows the idea from the iconic online game, Habbo Hotel! If you never experienced it, it was a world of it’s own. I’m sure you can still use the site? Habbo is an online retro pixel-art style virtual community. You could run riot with your friends, crash weddings, swim in the pool, build your own house and explore the Habbo world. I think it’s such a cool idea to create a festival as an ode to the game that shaped so many of our early teenage years!

Details of the parks at MECCALAND:

Popstar Park: A playground for the beauty obsessed.

The Queendom: Where beauty royalty reigns supreme.

City of Lights: A true makeup metropolis, with bright highlights and a big city feel.

The Wildflowers: For those wanting to slow it down a little, this world is a field of dreams for the beauty bohemian.

Temple of You: Offering a moment of zen for the mind, body and soul.

Each festival-goer will have a four hour experience in the beauty festival world. The only trouble is, which one of the five sessions do we choose?! It’s a hard choice!

Who will be at MECCALAND?

The festival will give ticket holders access to the beauty industry’s biggest superstars. The celebrity makeup artist Mia Connor will be there - Do you remember when she did my makeup? It was AMAZING. Other experts at the festival will be Max May and Emma Chen, along with beauty brand founders Zoë Foster Blake of Go-To Skincare and and Elle Ferguson, founder of The Elle Effect.

Of course MECCALAND won’t be complete without a juicy lineup of special appearances from everyone’s favourite YouTubers/Instagrammers! Our faves Bella Fiori, Eleanor Pendleton and Shani Grimmond will all be there! Make sure you check the session times and info so you don’t miss your favourites!

A bunch of other amazing Aussie Beauty influencers will be there too! Think along the lines of Sammy Robinson, Jasmine Hand, Nikkia Joy, Christina Sikalias, Lily Brown, Jacks Sanches, Emma Chen, Rae Morriss,CHantelle Baker, Jade Kisnorbo, Flex Mami, Gemma Watts, Shameless Podcasters Michelle Andrews and Zara McDonald, Natalie Daws, Emilie Stevens and I’m sure there’s more to be announced!

How To Get MECCALAND Tickets:

Get early access to MECCALAND tickets by signing up to be a Beauty Loop member! Pre-sale tickets will go on sale on Tuesday 19th March at 8am AEST! The passes are always expected to sell out quickly so make sure you give yourself the best chance!

General public admission will then go on sale at 8am AEST on Wednesday 20 March.

Where can I get tickets?

Beauty junkie festival-goers will flood MECCALAND by choosing one of the 12 available three hours session times spread over the three day period.

Beauty Loop loyalty program members will have access to pre-sale to tickets on Monday 26 February 2018 at 7:30 am.
Tickets are released to the general public on Tuesday 27 February 2018 at 7:30 am.
Tickets are $49.00 AUD and I’m already dreaming of being at MECCALAND.

Hopefully, I can meet some of you there if I can snap up a ticket!
